The movie ‘Valentine’s Day’ was a must see this season for many people. This is mostly due to the cast that is comprised of many familiar faces. Some of the most recognized from the cast are Jamie Foxx, Taylor Swift, Queen Latifah, George Lopez, Anne Hathaway, Taylor Lautner and many more. This movie is about a group of people trying to deal with love and cope with the mountains and valleys in their relationships on Valentine’s Day. The many famous faces in ‘Valentine’s day’ attracted a wide audience, the box office has already seen about $63 million.
The cast of the movie is its high point and it’s undoing, There are so many personalities in this film and some of them clash a bit. There are some witty and charming people, such as Anne Hathaway and Julia Roberts. However, there were some inexperienced individuals, let’s be honest, Taylor Swift wasn’t the best actress and she should probably stick to music. ‘Valentine’s Day’ is a movie that most anyone can connect to, it makes the joys and downers of Valentines Day funny. There is the completely desperate woman (played by Jessica Biel) that is a mess over this day. Then there are multiple characters that love the day of love like Reed Bennett (Ashton Kutcher) that gets engaged to his sweetheart.
Yes, there are many good things, but there are also downfalls. Since the movie focuses on so many different people, the story line takes a hit, the audience will just start to get the feel of a group of characters and then it jumps to a whole other different set of characters. It jumps around a lot and it gets a little boring trying to keep up with so many different characters in one movie. It is definitely a huge chick flick and it pokes fun at the meaning of Valentines Day and what it means to other people.
‘Valentines Day’ attracted a wide audience of people. The movie was witty and entertaining, but there were way too many personalities and the numerous faces of the cast was the bad part of the movie. Regardless of the flaws, ‘Valentine’s Day’ pulled the heart strings of many people and made them laugh at all the struggles many people go through on that holiday.
