The action/adventure game “NeverDead”, has not made much of a buzz in the gaming community. Released Jan. 31, the game has not received too many positive reviews. With an average score from Metascore, 52 out of 100, and a 3/10 from IGN. Most complaints about the game being directed towards the control system and the storyline.

The game’s story revolves around an immortal demon hunter named Bryce Boltzmann. Bryce was cursed with immortality after witnessing the murder of his wife by the main antagonist, Astaroth. Astaroth is the one responsible for the demons invading the city. The game will also feature a female character named Arcadia Maximille. Arcadia serves as Bryce’s partner in the game.

The game is recognized as a third-person shooter. The game play will make use of Bryce’s immortality by making him lose body parts and have to regain them during battle. Bryce can also use his dismemberment to his advantage, he can electrocute himself and shoot electric bullets, catch on fire and become a light source. Also Bryce’s partner, Arcadia, will serve as a sort of health bar in game. If Arcadia dies, it is game over.

The game also features a destructible environment. The player can destroy things in small-scale destruction like pillars, the ground, and walls and the player can also large-scale destroy things like entire buildings.

Finally, the game features a leveling system in which the player can gain experience points and then spend them on upgrading their character’s abilities, weapons, or unlocking things in game.
