Many students enjoyed after grad

After grad took place after the graduation ceremony May 15. Many BHS students went to after grad at the community center in Harrisonville and enjoyed their time there. The students had many different activities there to join in and have fun. It was one of the last chances the Class of 2010 will have to hang out all together.
After grad gave the students a chance to hang out in a secure place with all of their friends. Senior Heather Gitlin, a graduate of the Class of 2010, said that she really enjoyed her time at after grad.
“I am glad the school could provide us with one last chance to hang out with our friends in a safe environment,” Gitlin said.
Plenty of activities were available for the people who went to after grad. Some of which were swimming, eating, dancing, playing games, and, most importantly, hanging out with friends before saying good-bye. Sophomore Kasea Price said that there were many rooms with different things to do inside of them.
“There was a food room, and in the gym there was an obstacle course and a moon jump with giant boxing gloves,” Price said. “All my friends danced it up in the dance room.”
Gitlin said that she also had fun doing the many things at after grad. She particularly had fun swimming and playing video games.
“I really enjoyed playing Rockband and swimming,” Gitlin said.
The seniors will all be missed greatly by the underclassmen they are leaving behind. They will also eventually leave their senior friends when they go off to separate colleges in the fall. After grad gave everyone, both the seniors and underclassmen a chance to say good-bye and have lots of fun before they leave to go off into the “real world.”
