The Lady Pirates Tennis Team started off rough with their second game of the season against Blue Springs South with the result of 0-9. The team tried their best against the jaguars but didn’t do as well as they expected to.

Manager Shon Miles said that the team did the best that they could against them.

“Blue Springs South is a tough school to beat,” Miles said, “They are required to take lessons so it’s even harder for us to beat them.”

Coach Andrew Mullen said the team was going to work on serves and returns.

“Practice in the off season can really help during a match,” Mullen said.

The team is practicing to get better for their oncoming matches and is working hard as a team.
