The relay team which consisted Freshman Lucas Villaverde, Hartnett, Sophomore Patrick Thompson and Chastain, took 3rd in the 200 meter freestyle relay, and 2nd in the 400 meter freestyle relay.
The second relay team which consisted of Grigg, Murkin, Junior Nick Willey, and Blankenship, took 2nd place in the 200 meter freestyle relay.
Coach Martijn Keltner said that the team did really well for their first meet, there were a lot of good and surprising swims.
“It was a lot of guy’s first meet ever and they showed no signs of nervousness,” Keltner said. “Now that they have an idea of what meets will be like, they should be more focused.”

We would like a big turn out at our home meet on September 22 at the community center at 4 p.m.

Hey, I’m Jacob Blankenship, we’re doin pretty good with what we have but it would be really cool if some more people would come to our meets if possible, having fans in the stands always makes a difference! Look at the website for when our swim meets are at and when they start.
